Bradley Yops, Pastor
Brad has a degree in architecture from Lawrence Technological University, and continues to practice the profession. Ten years after graduation, he sensed God's calling him into the ministry, and earned a master of divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary. He is the founding pastor and architect of NewLife Community Lutheran Church in Swartz Creek. Brad and wife Jan have been married for 39 years and have three adult children and four grandchildren.
Dave
Rossow, Director of Outreach Dave is a graduate of Ferris State University and has worked in the factory automation business for 33 years—10 of those years he ran his own company. Dave has a heart for lost people and loves developing ways to reach out to our community. He and wife Nancy, our church secretary, have been married for 34 years and have three adult children, Lindsay, Michael and Laura and two grandchildren.
Bob Elde, Director of Music & Worship
Bob worked many years as a professional musician outside the church and in the building and
remodeling field before being called into the music ministry of the church. He has been the worship leader at NewLife since its inception. Bob and wife Annie have been married for 31 years and have one adult daughter, Christel, who serves with husband James Neuendorf in Panama as missionaries for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod World Missions.
Sue
Ausen, ••• RETIRED •••
Director of Ministries Sue is now officially retired as of June 30, 2011, a two-year process she has finally made a reality after almost 20 years in church work. Sue is a graduate of Alma College with a degree in Chemistry and worked as a chemist in GM's Research Lab in Warren. She enjoys working with many people and loves watching them grow as they serve our risen Lord. She and her husband John, married 42 years, are now enjoying retirement together and being able to spend more time with their four adult children, Katrina, Brad, Amanda, Angi and six grandchildren.
